There is however no water in the evacuated tubes; the solar water heater is able to stay in operation even if several of the tubes are damaged. These Solar Water Heaters are designed to be hurricane resiistant and also comes equipped with electrical back up heating capabilities and a thermostat. The unique thing that seperates this solution from the regular TSP Water Heaters is that it works with a header, hence the tubes don't go directly into the tank.
